Well, Darius Slay showed us on Sunday that there is one effective method that you can use to defend Dez Bryant.

More from Dallas Cowboys

The Detroit Lions currently hold a 17-7 lead over the Dallas Cowboys at halftime of their NFC Wild Card contest on Sunday, and part of what has helped the Lions be so successful in the first 30 minutes is that they’ve basically rendered Dez Bryant invisible.

Through two quarter of play, Bryant, considered one of the best wide receivers in the entire league, has just one catch for two yards.

Well, part of the reason that the Lions have been able to make Dez Bryant a non-factor in this one might have a little something to do with Darius Slay straight up manhandling him at the line.

Yeah, you see, that is one way that you can take one of the best wide receivers in football out of the equation. If he’s falling down on his ass at the line, then he’s probably not going to torch you.
