Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts UNDER 49 points

Every year, Wild Card weekend is marked by a few sloppy contests, and I think this may be one of them. Cincinnati enters the game without the benefit of their most explosive offensive weapon, as A.J. Green will miss the game with injury, and while Indianapolis is capable of big things offensively, the Colts have not cracked the 30-point barrier in four consecutive weeks.

I trust the Cincinnati defense and I do not trust the Cincinnati offense, which makes this play even easier. Admittedly, it is tough to fade Andrew Luck in a big game at home, but given that the Colts could also win a blowout and hold this under (if Cincinnati falters behind Andy Dalton), I’ll take the parachute.

49 points isn’t a bad number, so it should be taken with a reasonable amount of caution, but I can’t see a full-blown shootout transpiring with Andy Dalton being included on the road.
