Bengals Lose Yet Again in the Playoffs

After losing to the Indianapolis Colts, the Cincinnati Bengals have lost yet again in the playoffs. With the loss, Andy Dalton’s playoff record is now 0-4 and Marvin Lewis’ playoff record is now 0-6. Darren Rovell of ESPN.com summed it up perfectly.

The last time this team has won a playoff game was in 1991. With the streak getting larger for another year, you have to wonder just how long it will be until Marvin Lewis gets the boot in Cincinnati. I understand that the Bengals were without Tyler Eifert and Marvin Jones for most of the year, and their best receiver in A.J. Green for this game, but someone has to take credibility for this franchise’s inability to win in the postseason.

Lewis is now 0-6 in the playoffs. Simply put, it’s time for him to go. However, the likelihood of him not coming back is slim and the reason being is he will get spurned because of the injuries Cincinnati had in 2014. Regardless, the Bengals have not won in the playoffs. This is a mediocre franchise and it has been for years. Something needs to change in 2015 before this fan-base jumps ship.
