Throughout the course of the past 24 hours, there have been many mainstream personalities that have come out ot pay tribute to Stuart Scott, who died of cancer on Sunday morning. A lot of the tributes have come from people that worked with him at ESPN, and on Monday morning, Dan Patrick was the latest to share his thoughts.
Patrick was already a staple at ESPN when Scott arrived on the SportsCenter scene and helped take the game to a whole other level. When his daily radio show began on Monday morning, Patrick shared some of his thoughts on Scott, and he did so in amazing fashion.
While the death of Scott has hit all of us sports fans hard, it has truly been amazing to listen to the stories from his colleagues the past two days. The stories that they are telling really put into perspective just how much this man meant to the entire sports media world. He made an impact that probably no one else will ever be able to pull off.
This tribute by Patrick was more than well done, and more than deserving.
