4. Andrew Luck’s Continuing Emergence

Andrew Luck has taken the next step in his career this season, and has cemented himself as an “elite” quarterback. He has taken over the Indianapolis Colts franchise, and is already beginning to break Peyton Manning’s franchise records. This past year, he took over the record for most single-season passing yards for the Colts from Manning.

He finished the 2014 regular season with 4,761 yards, 40 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions. The biggest issue that he has left to fix is turning the football over. His 16 interceptions are a concern against Aqib Talib and the Broncos defense, and was sacked 27 times as well.

The Broncos are going to be throwing a lot of pressure at him throughout the game, and the Colts’ offensive line is going to have major trouble stopping both DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller.

Despite the turnover problems, Luck has taken the next step in his career and is more prepared for this type of game than ever. Indianapolis has given him every weapon that he could possibly need against the Denver defense, and all he needs to do is take care of the football and make plays. If he can do those two things, the offense will be able to give the Colts a chance down the stretch of the game.
