Cowboys Beat the Packers

On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys played one of their worst games of the season against a Detroit Lions team that was doing everything it could to shut down Tony Romo and DeMarco Murray. Well they did stop Murray. He did have 75 yards on 19 carries for a touchdown, but anyone that has watched the NFL knows that that’s a mediocre game for the running back. However, the Lions couldn’t stop Romo. Even though they had six games on Romo, and got constant pressure on him all game long, Romo threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. He also had a game-winning touchdown drive. Is that clutch enough for you?

By virtue of beating the Lions, Romo and the Cowboys will travel north to play the Green Bay Packers. The reason why this game will be fun is because the Cowboys are 8-0 on the road and the Packers are 8-0 at home. I have the Cowboys beating the Packers and the main reason why is because Dallas can keep Green Bay off the field by running the football with Murray. The Packers host the 23rd ranked rushing defense and Aaron Rodgers has a gimpy calf that could become a problem. Dallas would need to play significantly better, but I believe they will overcome adversity, go into Green Bay, and come out with the victory.
