NFL: 5 bold predictions for divisional round

Broncos Use the Ground Game to Beat the Colts
Peyton Manning hasn’t been himself over the past two months. Whatever it may be, the Denver Broncos have still played extremely good football over the course of the past month. Although they lost to the Cincinnati Bengals a few weeks ago, the Broncos have a lot to be optimistic about and the main reason why has been the play of C.J. Anderson. The second-year veteran has been quite special for the Broncos in the second half of the 2014 season. Peyton hasn’t had a quality running game in awhile, but Anderson is doing what it takes for defenses not to key in on Manning too much.
Ever since their Week 11 loss to the St. Louis Rams, Anderson has ran the football 140 times for 648 yards and nine total touchdowns. That being said, to stop the Indianapolis Colts and their prolific passing offense, Anderson will be the focal point of this offense on Sunday. The Broncos will run the football early and often, and it will be a huge reason for their victory in this game.
