Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers UNDER 52.5 points

This may be my favorite bet on the board this week, and that happens for a few reasons.

Aaron Rodgers is hobbled with a calf injury that could range into “severe” territory if you believe the right source, and with that, Green Bay’s offense could be limited to quick drops, removing the long ball from the arsenal for the Packers. Make no mistake, this is an offense that is quite capable of putting up 30 points even with Rodgers at 80%, but Dallas has been performing admirably on defense, especially on the road.

There is another factor that could directly influence Rodgers and his calf, and that is the brutal cold of Lambeau Field. The forecast calls for temperatures at or near 20 degrees with a wind chill that could reach single digits, and with a muscle injury, that isn’t a good recipe. Even if we remove his ailment from the proceedings, the Cowboys are likely to run DeMarco Murray into the ground in this game in an effort to keep the Green Bay offense standing on the cold sideline, and that is a great recipe for the under.

The line is already moving toward this side, so jump on this one as quickly as possible to grab the extra juice.
