Indianapolis Colts (+7) over Denver Broncos

I don’t like this pick.

Well, I shouldn’t say that necessarily, but it is my least favorite on the board this week. This is probably the right line, with Denver as the solidly superior team and Indianapolis arriving on the heels of a nice win, but I’m taking the points when there is any doubt.

Peyton Manning in the playoffs is always a frightening proposition, and since I have railed on his postseason failures in the past, I can’t stop now. More than that, though, the sharps have already come in on Indianapolis, as the overall line has stayed put despite significant public support, and in what I expect to be a closer game than most expect, the points are the play.

Enjoy the NFL slate, and fade the public with underdogs and unders.
