Disclaimer: I don’t know a whole lot about The Avengers. Don’t worry, I know enough to get us through this article, but don’t expect some big overarching theory from myself on what is going on here. I don’t know everything. For instance, I didn’t know Ultron could apparently shoot lightning a la Emperor Palpatine.

"“Everyone creates the thing they dread.”"

So the trailer starts off much like the first: things are looking pretty grim. We see Hawkeye, Cap, and Tony Stark looking all forlorn as things explode around them. We are then treated to the familiar Ultron greeting with Bruce saying inquisitively, “Ultron?” Ultron’s robot guys explode through Stark’s walls, presumably at the team. Brief shot of Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Bruce getting angry. Then we get the elusive Nick Fury! After this, a woman disrobes in some sort of cave. As of last night, no one knew exactly who this woman was; perhaps it has been determined this morning.

"“You’ve meddled with something you don’t understand.”"

Actions shots. Iron Man getting slammed about. Possible flashback of Black Widow’s origins. Hulk going crazy. Black Widow’s ass. Andy Serkis, who is rumored to be playing Ulysses Klaw, which will lead into the Black Panther film.  Lots of battling. Hulk and Black Widow share a moment. From what I’m gathering, she’s the one who talks Bruce down from his rage after fighting with Iron Man in the Hulkbuster armor. Hulk’s eyes look bloodshot which could be due Scarlet Witch putting a hex on him.

"“I’m going to tear you apart. From the inside.”"

Thor grabs Tony by the throat. Then the Hulkbuster armor lands and the fight begins. This is probably going to be just an insane fight scene. Pretty much nothing is off limits here. Overall, the trailer is good, not great. The music, which is still a version of “No Strings On Me”, continues to be ominous, but I felt the first trailer was significantly better. Does that mean anything at all? No. This movie is still shaping up to be ridiculous. Side note: Hawkeye continues to look incredibly boring and we still haven’t even gotten our first glimpse at VISION YET!

The Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released May 1st, 2015.
