17. Randy White, Defensive Tackle

Somehow, on a defense with Harvey Martin and Ed “Too Tall” Jones, Randy White stood out the most. His combination of agility and speed at the position made him a nightmare for opposing linemen and quarterbacks alike.

After being picked in the first round by the Dallas Cowboys in 1975, Randy White would play mostly on special teams and backup starting linebacker Lee Roy Jordan for the next two years. When Jordan retired, White was moved to the defensive tackle position and never looked back.

White would be selected to nine Pro Bowls and First-team All-Pro teams during his 14-year career. He was also named Co-MVP of Super Bowl XII with fellow defenseman Harvey Martin.

For playing such a punishing position, White would only miss one game for the entirety of his career. That kind of durability would allow him to impact the game with 1,104 tackles, 111.0 unofficial sacks, and a Hall of Fame induction in 1994.
