Reason: Are the Hawks ready to believe?

Anyone can make the case that the Atlanta Hawks deserve to have four NBA-All stars representing their team in New York City. That includes Paul Millsap, Jeff Teague, Al Horford, and yes, Kyle Korver too.

Here’s a fun fact. Korver is on pace to become the only person in NBA history to ever shoot at least 50 percent from the field, at least 50 percent from the three-point line, and shoot at least 90 percent from the free throw line.

The Hawks are the most complete team in the league this season and the next in line isn’t even close. The Hawks are one of the dark horse teams who a lot of people should keep their eyes on.

At this point no one in the Eastern Conference should want to play against the Hawks. Their team is scary good and as long as they keep playing this well no team in the Eastern Conference is going to defeat them four times in a playoff series.

Their greatest test is will they need more confidence? Later in the year there will come a time when the Hawks are playing a great team and will need a confidence boost. The shots that are falling now will eventually rim out, but will their team still play unified?

If they start to believe that the Eastern Conference is wide open, then they could get to the Eastern Conference Finals and shock the world.
