Beating Super Mario World for your Super Nintendo was probably one of your biggest accomplishments as a kid. It was up there with losing your first tooth.

Well this guy is here to extremely outdo your feats. He did what probably took you weeks in six minutes.  Well, kind of…

This guy performed something called a “credits warp,” which isn’t a rip-off of that song from Rocky Horror Picture Show. It’s a fancy gamer term that will give you the end credits without actually knocking Bowser out of his Koopa Clown Car. So really you’re just bypassing your way to something that no one really watches.

This glitch was originally discovered by a gamer that goes under the username Jeffw356. He performed the glitch in five minutes on an emulator. This video clip shows gamer, SethBling, doing it on the actual SNES console and then freaking out like a kid that just got a puppy on Christmas. This was his 158th attempt at completing the process.

To discover & execute the “credits warp,” Jeffw356 had to break down and analyze the game’s code. This involved “figuring out exactly how to manipulate the memory” so that it would bring up the end credits without winning the final boss battle (or even getting past the first freakin’ level).

Essentially this whole glitch triggers a reprogramming of the game just by a string of certain events in gameplay which is pretty amazing.
