Brandon Browner – Big Hits, Bigger Penalty Yards

Brandon Browner is one of the founding members of the Legion of Boom, the nickname for Seattle’s punishing defensive secondary. He has been known over his career for punishing hits, suspensions for substance abuse and an excessive amount of flags thrown against him.

Browner signed as a free agent this offseason with the Patriots, and will be reunited with his old battery mates this Sunday. In New England, he has infused the defense with some badly needed toughness and attitude. He’s also been responsible for 15 penalties in only 10 games.

Will Browner lower the boom on Seattle, or will he help the Seahawks keep the chains moving with ill-timed penalties?
