2. Russell Wilson’s Legacy
In the NFC Championship, Wilson arguably had the worst performance of his career. However in the last three drives of that game, the Seahawks scored three touchdowns and the main reason why was because of Wilson’s ability to put the past behind him, fight adversity, and find a way to come back against the odds and win the football game. Wilson is one of the more intriguing quarterbacks in the league because at such a young age, he has done so much. Yes he has the best defense in football backing him up, but something has to be said about Wilson and what he has done in his career.
In this game, Wilson will have the opportunity to do something many quarterbacks haven’t done and that is to win back-to-back Super Bowls. In fact, the only quarterbacks to ever win back-to-back Super Bowls are all elite players at their position. Bart Starr, Bob Griese, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, John Elway, and, of course, Tom Brady. Wilson has the opportunity to be apart of this group by winning on Sunday.
