Super Bowl 2015: Ranking all 48 Super Bowls

40.) Super Bowl XVIII – Los Angeles Raiders vs. Washington Redskins
Washington came into the game as a three-point favorite since they were the defending champions and had the best record in the league at 14-2, but it was the Raiders that would dominate 38-9 in just their second season in Los Angeles.
The Raiders capitalized on Washington’s miscues and out-gained them by over 100 yards, and Los Angeles was just the better team for every quarter.
Jim Plunkett completed 16/25 of his passes for 172 yards and a touchdown, but it was Marcus Allen who stole the show and the MVP award with 20 rushes for 191 yards (then-record) and two touchdowns.
Allen became the third Heisman trophy winner ever to also win Super Bowl MVP.
