Super Bowl 2015: Ranking all 48 Super Bowls
By Andrew Ross
33.) Super Bowl XXVI – Washington Redskins vs. Buffalo Bills
This was the second Super Bowl loss of four straight for the Bills, and this time it came by the hands of the Redskins who became the fourth team to win three Super Bowls.
Buffalo came into the game with a high-scoring offense and a very poor offense, and it just wasn’t their day as they were never able to really get into the game.
Washington forced five turnovers and got out to a 24-point lead before Buffalo ever even scored, and the deficit was too big to overcome.
Jim Kelly had a rough day at the office as he only completed 28/58 passes for 275 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions.
However, Washington’s quarterback Mark Rypien completed 18/33 passes for 292 yards, two touchdowns and one interception – and that was good enough to win the game’s MVP.
