32.) Super Bowl IV – Kansas City Chiefs vs. Minnesota Vikings
This was the fourth and final AFL-NFL World Championship before the two league’s merged into one, and after the NFL won the first two championships, the Chiefs beat the Vikings 23-7 for the second straight win for the AFL.
Minnesota came into the game as 12-point favorites since the world still thought the NFL was superior, but Kansas City’s defense helped the Chiefs shock the world.
The Chiefs forced five turnovers (three picks, two fumbles), and they were able to capitalize on those Minnesota mistakes.
Len Dawson was named Super Bowl MVP after completing 12/17 passes for 142 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
