31.) Super Bowl XI – Oakland Raiders vs. Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota was 0-3 in Super Bowls coming into this game, and Oakland made them 0-4 with a 32-14 victory in their second championship game appearance.
Oakland’s offense was rolling as they tallied up a then-record 429 yards of offense, and the Raiders found themselves up 16-0 at halftime.
The Vikings were close to the Raiders in nearly all the categories, but they lost the turnover battle 3-0, and that was the difference maker.
Although Clarence Davis had 137 yards rushing on only 16 attempts, it was receiver Fred Biletnikoff who was awarded MVP for his 79 yards receiving on just four catches.
