Super Bowl 2015: Ranking all 48 Super Bowls
By Andrew Ross
30.) Super Bowl XV – Oakland Raiders vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia couldn’t make the most of their first Super Bowl appearance and were bested 27-10 by Oakland.
Jim Plunkett threw two first quarter touchdown passes to give Oakland a quick 14-0 lead, and that was good enough to keep them ahead for the rest of the game.
Rod Martin set a Super Bowl record for most picks for one player when he intercepted Ron Jaworski three times.
Although Martin’s performance was great, Plunkett was given the game’s MVP for completing 13/21 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns.
Cliff Branch caught five of those passes for 67 yards and two touchdowns.
