Super Bowl 2015: Ranking all 48 Super Bowls
By Andrew Ross
41.) Super Bowl XXXIII – Denver Broncos vs. Atlanta Falcons
The Broncos were coming off a Super Bowl victory the previous season, and a 34-19 win over the Falcons brought Denver back-to-back championships.
Although the point differential ended up being 15, the score was a little bit deceiving since Denver did have a 31-6 lead one point in the fourth quarter.
The Falcons had four turnovers that dug them too deep into a hole.
John Elway had a lot of struggles throughout his career, but he went out on top and retired after this Super Bowl victory.
Elway became the oldest Super Bowl MVP at 38 years old after completing 18/29 of his passes for 336 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Rod Smith caught five of Elway’s passes for 152 yards and one touchdown, and Terrell Davis rushed 25 times for 102 yards.
