Let the (properly inflated) pigskin fly

This is a Super Bowl and the last two the Patriots have been in have come down to the final drive or two of the game.

In the instance we don’t get a blowout this time around, it’s possible that Wilson, if given the opportunity, will have to lead the Hawks from behind against New England again.

If this happens, Wilson just has to let the ball fly.  It’s possible that Wilson could throw over 30 times in Super Bowl XLIX, the first time he’ll have 30 passing attempts in the postseason and the first time since Week 16 of the regular season he would do so.

He proved against the Pats two years ago that he has the arm strength, and proved to the league in the NFC Championship game and (again) the Pats two years ago that he can come through in the clutch with both game winning touchdowns coming on the deep skinny post route.

Look for that play to come up if the game calls for it late.
