No. 10, Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys

To be honest, Witten deserves to be higher on the list just for that one time he ran 53 yards without his helmet on.

One of the toughest competitors of his time, Witten has been shattering career records for the better part of a decade. There are few wide receivers in NFL history who can match Witten’s production – never mind tight ends. Witten is another former basketball player (though he didn’t play in college at Tennessee) who is able to box out defenders and establish his position to make catches.

Witten has blasted past 10,000 career receiving yards and is closing in on 1,000 receptions for his 12 year career. He ranks second all time among tight ends in receiving yards, and is 35th all time among all pass catchers. Witten’s production causes nightmares for defensive coordinators, and is among the current group of players who have caused something of an arms race between teams who are looking for that next dominant playmaker at the position.

Jason Witten is a nine time Pro Bowler, a two time All Pro, and a sure bet first ballot Hall of Famer when he finally retires.
