NFL Power Rankings: 30 best TE of all-time
No. 27: Riley Odoms, Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos selected Houston Cougars tight end Riley Odoms with the 5th overall pick in the first round of the 1972 draft, and he didn’t disappoint. Odoms was a key cog in the Denver offense that made it to the Super Bowl in 1977. His performance in the last game of the year against the Houston Oilers – 6 receptions, 86 yards and a touchdown – helped clinch the first playoff berth for the Broncos in 18 years.
Selected to four Pro Bowls and a two-time first team All Pro, Odoms amassed 5755 yards receiving and 41 touchdowns in his 12 year career.
