21. Jim Plunkett in Super Bowl XV

QB, Oakland Raiders

Jim Plunkett led the Raiders to their second Super Bowl championship in franchise history on Jan. 25, 1981. He put together one of the more efficient games at the quarterback position in Super Bowl history against the Philadelphia Eagles in a 27-10 victory.

He threw for three touchdowns, zero interceptions and 261 yards on just 13 completions, including one 80 yard touchdown pass. Talk about making the most of each play. At one point he had the Raiders up 24-3 on the strength of his three touchdown passes. His impact on the Raiders’ organization cannot be understated and he was named MVP of this game.
