19. Emmitt Smith in Super Bowl XXVIII

RB, Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys’ second Super Bowl victory in their 1990s dynasty was led by their Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith. On Jan. 30, 1994 Smith ran for 132 yards against the Buffalo Bills on 30 carries. He also caught four passes for 26 yards as well. However, it was Smith’s scores that put the Cowboys over the top in this game.

In the second half the game was tied 13-13, but then Smith took over. He scored two consecutive touchdowns giving the ‘Boys a 27-13 lead. They would win the game 30-13 and Smith would appropriately be named the game’s MVP. The Bills didn’t have an answer for Smith and he secured his name among the NFL’s elite with his play in this game.
