28. Michael Irvin in Super Bowl XXVII

WR, Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys blew out the Buffalo Bills 52-17 for the first Super championship of their 1990s dynasty on Jan. 31, 1993. However, the game was close at one point. The ‘Boys led just 14-10, but then Irvin put his stamp on Super Bowl history. He caught two straight touchdown passes giving Dallas a 28-10 lead and it would never look back as it continued to rack up points on the hapless Bills.

Irvin had six catches on the day and posted 114 receiving yards to go along with his two scores. He is a Hall of Fame inductee and this was certainly the biggest moment of his illustrious career. Quarterback Troy Aikman had a big day and Irvin was his main target all game. Perhaps the Cowboys’ dynasty wouldn’t have taken off if No. 88 hadn’t taken over Super Bowl XXVII.
