27. Kurt Warner in Super Bowl XXIV

QB, St. Louis Rams

Kurt Warner put together a magical game in Super Bowl XXIV to cap off a magical season for the St. Louis Rams and the ‘Greatest Show on Turf.’ He won the Super Bowl MVP honors on Jan. 30, 2000 against the Tennessee Titans. Warner threw for an electrifying 414 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions. In true MVP form, Warner played his best when the game was on the line.

The big game was tied at 16 with just over two minutes to play when Warner hit Isaac Bruce for a jaw-dropping 73 yard touchdown pass. That play propelled the Rams to victory and cemented Warner as a rising superstar. He was 24/25 on the game and three times lead the Rams to drives ending in field goals capping off drives that he sustained with his arm.
