Old-fashioned way to take in the game

Perhaps you are like me and enjoy listening to games on the radio as much, if not more than watching them on television (I’m old school, what can I say?). Or maybe for whatever reason you are planning on driving during the game and still want to listen in, because unlike many you care about the actual game itself.

Whatever your reasons, listening to the game remains an option. It’s slightly easier if you SiriusXM radio, as the game will be available on NFL Radio, channel 88, and the option will also be presented to listen to either the New England Patriots or Seattle Seahawks feed.

Of course, NFL Radio will join other national syndicated stations, such as Bleacher Report Radio, ESPN Radio, Fox Sports Radio and countless others, plus local stations on Radio Row in downtown Phoenix at their convention center.

Whether you have satellite radio or not, though, the game will be carried nationally (and internationally, including in Spanish) by Westwood One, and other international outlets (note: ESPN Deportes carried the game last year, but no note on if they are this year). For a list of channels and stations, click here.

The always fun to listen to and enthusiastic Kevin Harlan holds the play-by-play duties for the fifth year in a row. By his side will be Boomer Esiason, who will be doing color commentary on the radio for the 15th consecutive season.

The sideline reporters will be James Lofton and Mark Malone, while Jim Gray and Scott Graham will handle the studio host roles with Kurt Warner and Rod Woodson chipping in their analysis.
