12) Kurt Warner, St. Louis Rams – Super Bowl XXXIV

Kurt Warner holds the top three marks for single-game passing yardage in Super Bowl history.

Think about that for a second.

Sadly, Warner finished with a 1-2 record in those, but his still-standing record with 414 passing yards in a win over the Tennessee Titans gives him the nod here. If there is a singular knock on Warner’s performance in Super Bowl XXXIV, it comes in the form of completion percentage, where he hit only 24 of his 45 passes, but with 9.2 yards per attempt and two touchdowns against no interceptions, efficiency isn’t the thing we should dwell on.

This particular game is best known for the final, when St. Louis defender Mike Jones wrapped up Tennessee WR Kevin Dyson at the 1-yard line to preserve a victory. However, Kurt Warner’s brilliant performance is the biggest reason that the Rams have a Super Bowl title.
