15. <p>Morten Andersen is the NFL leader in games played with 382 and the league’s all-time leading scorer with 2,544. His career began with the New Orleans Saints who drafted him in the fourth round after an All-American career at Michigan State and played with the Saints from 1982-1994. He was a five-time first-team All-Pro and made six Pro Bowls with the Saints where he is the team’s all-time leading scorer.</p> <p>He is also the leading scorer for the Atlanta Falcons where he played from 1995-2000 and made his last All-Pro and Pro Bowl in his first season with the Saints rivals. He became the first player to kick three field goals of 50 yards or longer in one game in a December game against the Saints in 1995. His overtime field goal in the 1998 NFC Championship Game against the heavily favored Vikings sent the Falcons to their first and only Super Bowl in 1998.</p> <p>When he retired in 2009 he held 21 NFL records, including the most games played, most points, most field goals attempted and made.
