Tom Brady’s Avocado Ice Cream

This pick is for all those dieters out there!

Apparently, Tom Brady is on a very strict diet, which he should be for an aging professional athlete. Brady has the rest of his days to sit on the couch and get fat like the rest of us after his playing career is over.

According to Greg Bishop of Sports Illustrated, Brady sometimes cheats a little bit on his diet and eats avocado ice cream that “tastes great,” according to Brady. That’s considered cheating, seriously?

Avocado ice cream isn’t even ice cream at all! From one of the best recipes I found, avocado ice cream is just pureed avocados, lime juice, a little tequila, water, and sugar. There’s no cream at all!

Bishop also said Brady prefers to put a little cacao in it to “mimic chocolate.” How crazy is that?

Most of us aren’t fitness/health nazis like Brady, but we can all cut back on a few calories every once in a while. Avocado ice cream sounds like the perfect treat to surprise your friends with at your Super Bowl party. Plus, you’ll be able to hit them with a couple fun facts about Tom Brady and his fitness routine.
