Nigel King, Wide Receiver – Kansas Jayhawks

The Kansas Jayhawks have one of the best-kept wide receiver secrets in this draft, and if your team takes him you shouldn’t scoff. Nigel King only played one season at Kansas after transferring from Maryland, but he certainly made the most of his snaps.

He’s a big, strong receiver at 6’3 and 210 pounds, and still has a little stiffness in his route-running, but nothing that couldn’t be coached up. What King can do is take the top off a defense and become a big play threat.

In 2014, King averaged 17.9 yards per reception and beat some of the best corners in the Big 12. But the most intriguing thing about King is his soft hands and ability to pluck the ball out of the air and make some acrobatic catches.

Certainly a developmental project, King is worth spending a fifth or sixth round pick on for practically any team.
