Anthony Boone, Quarterback – Duke Blue Devils

We had to have at least one quarterback on this list, and Duke’s Anthony Boone is as worthy as any. Not the biggest QB in this year’s draft, the 6’1 238-pound Boone could be a good project pick.

In his final two seasons at Duke, Boone really came into his own and put on some impressive performances against top ACC teams. He’s a prototypical dual-threat quarterback, but doesn’t resort to using his legs unless absolutely necessary.

Running a 4.78 forty, Boone has nice speed, and he’s got good arm strength. With a career 58 percent completion average, he’s shown he can be accurate and read through his progressions well.

The next Tom Brady? Probably not. But Boone could become an able backup early in his NFL career and certainly could develop into a starter on the right team.
