Patrick Allen: Justin Houston. Houston almost broke the single season sack record this season. He isn’t as big a name as J.J. Watt but he is the best pass rusher in the NFL. If the Chiefs improve their offense this offseason and play with a lead more in 2015, Houston could very well break the sack record next year.

Josh Sanchez: Tony Romo. As you will see in the following slides, Romo and company should be able to keep their success rolling into next season. And, with another season under their belts, the sky will be the limit. While DeMarco Murray was a large part of the Cowboys’ success last season, Romo will need to take his game to the next level to finally get Dallas over the hump. Oh, and he plays quarterback. That will help his case.

Mike Dyce: Tom Brady. Brady is going to come into the 2015 season possessed and full of confidence. He has a chance to win a fifth Super Bowl, and to be only the second player in NFL history to do so, and the first quarterback. That will put him ahead of his idol Joe Montana and he will be relentless in his pursuit. Not to mention, tight end Rob Gronkowski is healthy at the end of the season and will be even healthier coming into 2015 than he was 2014.

Josh Hill: Aaron Rodgers. Brett Farve was a back-to-back MVP winner and Aaron Rodgers is in the absolute prime of his career looking to do the same thing. He’s been doing this for years, making an offense out of bit parts that become stars, and its high time that he dominate the league in a complete capacity.

Jack Jorgensen: Andrew Luck. It’s pretty evident that without this young man under center, this team would not even sniff the playoff picture, much less come within one game of the Super Bowl. He’s done nothing but improve this team since he took over as a rookie, and with another successful season next year, he’ll get the first of what should be many MVP trophies in his career.

Ernie Padaon: J.J. Watt. Watt is incredible. Some of the things that he is able to do for the defense in Houston is amazing and he should be able to lead his team into the playoffs this season. Watt will add a few touchdowns on offense to add even more value to his team. He cannot be stopped. The time seems right for the MVP award.
