Dan Patrick, host of The Dan Patrick Show, took time out of his own show to address comments made about him and his work ethic by ESPN’s Colin Cowherd

During The Dan Patrick Show on Tuesday morning, Dan Patrick replied to Colin Cowherd’s criticism with a little criticism of his own, according to The Big Lead.

On Monday, Cowherd called out Patrick for, essentially, not working hard and needing “35 producers to fill a segment,” according to another story from The Big Lead.

On Tuesday, Patrick acted like the bigger person and told Cowherd to take a walk in his shoes before criticizing him. Patrick also noted he only has “two producers.”

Here’s the video of Patrick discussing Cowherd’s remarks:

I find Colin Cowherd as one of the only show hosts on ESPN that I can tolerate for more than a few minutes, but he tends to create controversy by putting down others, just like the John Wall story that resurfaced this year.

I don’t know if Jim Rome or Skip Bayless work hard or not, like Cowherd said, but it seems to me, in order for to do the things Patrick does, Patrick has to work hard.

I like Dan Patrick much more than I like Cowherd, and I think he acted like a much bigger person throughout this whole situation.

Who cares how hard you work when you come across as petty and whiny, like Cowherd did on Monday?

According to the report, Patrick also said two of his former ESPN colleagues who now work in management at ESPN emailed him to apologize for Cowherd’s comments.
