Replay Was Supposed To Ensure We Got The Call Right Every Time.

There were several calls in 2014 that should have been corrected on replay but were not. This comes back to the Vice President of Officiating. That’s because this was the first season that all replays were handled by a command center in the corporate offices, supervised in real time by Dean Blandino.

Blandino is the man in charge. He’s the guy who supervised the replay process that overturned Dez Bryant’s spectacular catch in Green Bay (more on that in a bit). If the replay process produces the wrong result, and it continues to happen, changes need to be made.

Dean Blandino continues to defend the process, indicating that he does not believe a problem exists. Increasingly, the fans are disagreeing with this stance.
