Jordan Cameron, Tight End

There haven’t been many holes in the Green Bay Packers, but ever since Jermichael Finley went down with his serious neck injury they have needed help at tight end. Jordan Cameron is a player that will be a free agent this offseason, and he would be an ideal addition for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

At 6’5″ and 249 pounds, there aren’t many defenders that could slow Cameron down. Having that type of target would make Aaron Rodgers even better, and the Packers offense would have a completely new threat for defenses to account for. He wouldn’t be even close to as expensive as Julius Thomas, but he would make a major improvement for the Packers.

Cameron is coming off of a bit of a disappointing season with the Cleveland Browns in 2014. He caught just 24 passes for 424 yards and two touchdowns. Injuries held him back a bit, but the Browns’ system was poor as well. During the 2013 season, he caught 80 passes for 917 yards and seven touchdowns.

Rookie tight end Richard Rodgers looked decent in his first NFL season, but he has a long ways to go. Cameron would be the immediate fix for the Packers, and would help take their offense to another level next season.
