Kevin Hart to host the roast of Justin Bieber

Comedian Kevin Hart is slated to be the roastmaster at the Roast of Justin Bieber.

Ever since Justin Bieber’s girly pre-pubescent voice has found its way into the radio, comedians and people with ears in general have found different ways to make fun of the Canadian pop star. Truth be told he’s an incredibly easy target: he’s young, he’s successful, his music is bad, and he has a HUGE following of teeny boppers willing to murder for him.

Aside from all that, he’s also a bit of a douche nozzle. Which is why it should come as no surprise that Comedy Central is planning to roast him this March.

The roast, which will be taping on March 14th, will presumably feature a metric ton of comedians, actors, and musicians gathered there to tear the fake bulge wielding pop star apart. Hosting the event will be comedian Kevin Hart who has been named Roast Master for the event.

From Broadway World:

"“I don’t normally do roasts but I had to step out for my guy Biebs … It’s his big 21. It’s about to be operation roast everyone’s ass,” the comedian said.“They say only a good friend would verbally eviscerate another good friend for all his vulnerabilities. Kevin Hart is a very good friend,” said Kent Alterman, President of Content Development and Original Programming at Comedy Central."

Comedy Central’s Roasts aren’t known for pulling their punches when it comes to making fun of the roastees. Past roasts have lambasted the likes of James Franco, Charlie Sheen, and Pamela Anderson, who have all taken the hits like champs.

And it isn’t like Justin Bieber hasn’t given comedians plenty of material to choose from. From urinating in mop buckets, to being called a wannabe by Keith Richards, Bieber is a gold mine for any roast.

“Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him, and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first. We’re thrilled he listened,” said Alterman.

Regardless, we can look forward to plenty of laughs come March 30th when the roast premieres. Fingers crossed someone makes him cry like a baby.

Get it? Like the song. Whatever. I’m not the one who will be roasting him.
