WR. West Virginia. Kevin White. 11. player. 60.
I’m not in love with this pick, not because White is bad or not worthy of a borderline top 10 pick, but because I don’t know that the Vikings need a wide receiver. On the other hand, I’m not totally sure what they have at wide receiver either, which pushed me to make the pick.

Greg Jennings has a few good seasons left but is aging, Cordarrelle Patterson is bafflingly inconsistent, Jarius Wright is a nice role player and while Charles Johnson had a surprisingly good season, I don’t know that the Vikings should bank the future on him repeating.

White is dangerous after the catch, finds ways to create space from coverage and will fight for the ball. He’d be a great addition for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to use and could help cushion the blow on shorter routes from the apparent missed pick of Patterson.

Now watch coach Zimmer go another way and draft a linebacker.
