LeSean McCoy has reportedly been traded to the Buffalo Bills for linebacker Kiko Alonso and Twitter blew up on Tuesday.

LeSean McCoy was traded to the Buffalo Bills Tuesday according to Adam Schefter and in return, the Philadelphia Eagles scored linebacker Kiko Alonso, who will re-unite with former head coach at Oregon, Chip Kelly.

With the biggest blockbuster NFL trade of the year, so far, Twitter is reacting heavily. LeSean McCoy has been an absolute vital piece for the Eagles in recent years. In 2013, McCoy had 1,607 yards rushing and nine touchdowns and had another great season last year when he rushed for 1,319 yards and five rushing touchdowns.

While McCoy’s trade is huge, it’s not final and his agent Drew Rosenhaus tweeted Tuesday that there is no trade for LeSean McCoy at this time, as nothing is finalized.

Schefter broke the big news via Twitter Tuesday evening.

And the people of Twitter responded.

This first tweet of course references the Philadelphia Eagles cutting Desean Jackson prior to last season because of his reported gang ties.

Here’s a valid question:

Probably:

"The LeSean McCoy to Buffalo trade strongly suggests that OJ Simpson might be done with the Bills— Eric Stangel (@EricStangel) March 3, 2015"

LeSean McCoy’s 4.2 yds per rush in 2014 was 22nd in NFL; his 5.1 yds/rush in 2013 was a top-5 average

This of course makes Giants, Redskins and Cowboys fans very happy..

Well, not everyone in Buffalo is happy. Local waiters are quitting rapidly because of McCoy’s terrible tipping history.

Poor Eagles fans..

The parody accounts had fun with this one…

Shady has carried the ball more than anyone in the last two years…Smart move? I guess we’ll see.
