The former Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants legend shared a photo of him and the singing legend


Barry Bonds is one of the most recognized and polarizing names in sports. The home run king spent his 20+ years in the majors with the Pirates and the San Francisco Giants. Bonds won the MVP award an incredible seven times during his career, and at one point was the most popular man in baseball as he set the single-season home run record.

With Bonds, at one point, untouchable, his star was just as big as anyone’s in the entire world.

On his Instagram account, Bonds shared a photo of one those celebrities that was also popular during his playing days.

Bonds posted a photo of him and legendary singer Michael Bolton back in the day hanging out in their custom baseball jerseys.

In the photo, Bolton is wearing a jersey with his last name on it while pointing to Bonds standing behind him wearing a jersey with his name on it.

At one point, these two were two of the biggest icons in the world. Bonds with his bat and Bolton with the mic.

Bonds posting the photo was a nice visit down memory lane.
