John Wall’s between-the-legs pass to Marcin Gortat (Video)
By Andrew Ross
John Wall is one of the few players in the league that can bring a crowd to their feet just because of a pass.
The Washington Wizards were 1-7 in their last eight games heading into tonight’s matchup against the Miami Heat, and they were lucky enough to come out with a much-needed victory tonight.

John Wall is tied with Chris Paul for the most assists per game (10.1), but I don’t think anyone comes close to the amount of amazing passes Wall makes.
In transition against the Heat, Wall saw Marcin Gortat in the corner of his eye and appeared to do a no-look between-the-legs pass to the big man.
It looks like even the defense had to take a second and process what just happened, because Gortat didn’t have to do really anything besides dunk after he caught the pass. I’m just glad he caught it in the first place, because sometimes you see big men like Gortat screw up what would be an amazing pass because they weren’t expecting the ball and couldn’t hang onto it.
Although the game looks like a blowout here, the Heat actually made a huge comeback and the Wizards only won the game by a single bucket.
Wall finished with 6.0 points (29.0 percent shooting), 12.0 assists, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.0 blocks.
