Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders drafted Derek Carr last season, and they saw flashes of star potential during his rookie campaign. He is undoubtedly one of the bright young quarterbacks in the league, and the Raiders are going to do everything in their power to put the pieces around him that will take his game to the next level.

During his rookie year, Carr threw for 3,270 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

Those numbers show just how valuable Carr is, and the potential that he possesses for the future. He was having to work with James Jones as his number one wide receiver, and his running backs didn’t help out much either. Putting up the numbers he did last season was impressive, considering what he had to work with.

If the Raiders put the right pieces around Carr, he will be set up to succeed and should take a leap forward.
