Spring training brings the first look at the new Minnesota Twins uniforms

Spring is upon us, which means that MLB teams can roll out their new uniforms for all the world to see.

The Minnesota Twins revealed their new uniforms back in November, and took the field with them Sunday for the first time.

Here are the uniforms, as originally revealed:

The Twins have ditched the pinstripes in favor of a white and red look with a bit of gold trim, new to the franchise. The team does appear to be soldiering on with their confusing logo that looks like somebody slapped a T on the Cincinnati Reds’ logo, however.

The Twins aren’t a team who change up their uniforms much, so to see this is actually encouraging to fans who want to see change in the ball club.

Of course, you can put lipstick on a pig and it’s still a pig — and until the Twins shore up their pitching rotation and improve their hitting, they won’t be much other than disappointments in the American League.
