Gonzaga v. Oklahoma State

We turn from beating OSU at football to beating OSU at basketball.

The clip should inspire fond memories of Adam Morrison, the mustachio-ed wierdo who many thought was going to be the next Larry Bird simply on the basis of him being a white guy. One of Morrison’s finest moments occurred against the Cowboys’ basketball squad. During a 2005 regular season game, Morrison buried a banked three to lift the Bulldogs and grow the Morrison legend.

Gus Johnson didn’t actually get to see the shot go into the basket because, as Adam Morrison let it go, Johnson’s broadcast partner Bill Raftery dumped a bucket of boiling hot oil on his head, much like they did in medieval times when defending a castle.

We have seen the last of Morrison in the NBA, but perhaps we have not seen the last of him on this slideshow.
