Gus just starts this one yelling. “SHOT CLOCK TURNED OFF. GAME CLOCK AT EIGHT.”

This call is a Beethoven symphony. It’s a Marvin Gaye acapella track. It’s George Gershwin messing around on the piano. “THOMAS. SHAKE. CROSSOVER. STEPBAAAACK … OH AT THE BUZZER!”

The Washington Huskies were able to top the Arizona Wildcats in the Pac-10 tournament championship in 2011 on Isaiah Thomas’ stepback jumper. The win guaranteed a place for the
Huskies in the final, and guaranteed Johnson a place in our hearts.
