After their win against Coastal Carolina, the Wisconsin Badgers had some fun with the NCAA Tournament’s stenographer.

The Wisconsin Badgers, the No. 1 seed in the West Region, took care of Coastal Carolina 86-72 on Friday night after an impressive game from Big Ten Player of the Year Frank Kaminsky.

Frank the Tank is known as the biggest joker on the hard not to love Wisconsin team, but after their win Friday, it was sophomore forward Nigel Hayes making all the jokes.

The Wisconsin Badgers team met the NCAA Tournament stenographer right after the game

Friday, and it was something that seemed to fascinate them more than being a 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament.

During their post-game press conference, the team had some fun with the stenographer, trying to make her job harder than it already is. Here was the transcript courtesy of ASAP Sports

"Q. Nigel, obviously if you look just statistically, you’ve taken quite a leap in the 3-point shooting, to whatever, and in other areas. Can you describe just the steps you took to kind of, you know, raise those parts of your game?NIGEL HAYES: Hello, it works now. Before I answer that question, I would like to say a few words, cattywampus, onomatopoeia and antidisestablishmentarianism. (Laughs). Now, back to your question. It was just a lot of hard work, teammates giving me great confidence, and when you play with players that are very unselfish like the two next to me who also give you that confidence and involve the team, it’s a lot easier to get things done.Q. Why did you start off saying those things and then I have to followup.NIGEL HAYES: Well, the wonderful young lady over there, I think her job title is a stenographer, yes, okay. And she does an amazing job of typing words, sometimes if words are not in her dictionary, maybe if I say soliloquy right now, she may have to work a little bit harder to type that word, or quandary, zephyr, Xylophone, things like that, that make her job really interesting."

Slow cap for Nigel Hayes real quick for keeping the press conference entertaining and bless that stenographer for having one of the most underrated, difficult jobs at the NCAA Tournament.

The Wisconsin Badgers will play 8-seed Oregon to see who moves on to the Sweet Sixteen Sunday at 7:45 PM ET. The Badgers were led in the second round by center Frank Kaminsky who had 27 points and 12 rebounds. He and the Badgers will hope for a similar performance Sunday night.
