Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams threw one of the worst passes ever seen on Tuesday night against the Miami Heat.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams–aka MCW–needs to remember a valuable piece of advice from The Wizard of Oz; “You’re not in Kansas anymore”.

For MCW, that phrase would switch to “You’re not in Philadelphia anymore”. In other words, passes like the one he threw on Tuesday night, are not allowed. It’s no longer okay to have mental lapses, or physical ones that go so haywire, like this pass.

Granted, MCW is still in just his second year in the NBA, and is only 23-years-old. But these things cannot happen in the NBA. Not when your new team, the Milwaukee Bucks are contending for an Eastern Conference playoff spot in Jason Kidd’s first year as head coach.

The 2013-14 NBA Rookie of the Year likely gained some bad habits playing for the putrid Philadelphia 76ers, and some of those simply must be unlearned. For instance, if throwing an alley-oop, don’t throw it above the backboard to the 6’3″ Jerryd Bayless.

If that pass must be thrown, it ought to be to the 6’11” Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

For what it’s worth, however, MCW has been solid since being acquired by the Bucks at the trade deadline, scoring 14.5 points per game and dishing out 5.5 assists in 31.6 minutes per game.

The Bucks entered the night at 34-36 and in sixth place in the East, being chased by their Tuesday night opponent, the Heat.

The Bucks trailed the Heat at home 67-59 with 4:41 to go in the third quarter.
