Tennessee Titans

  • 2014 Finish: 2-14, 4th in AFC South
  • Top Positional Need: Offensive Tackle

Ken Whisenhunt is a guy who’s made his bones on offense. He’s a phenomenal quarterback guru. Look no further than Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh and Kurt Warner in Arizona.

When he stakes a claim to a guy, he means it – and that’s exactly what it looks like he’s done with young Zach Mettenberger.

Titans Offensive Tackles:

  1. Taylor Lewan
  2. Byron Stingily
  3. Jamon Meredith
  4. Torren Jones
  5. Williams Poehls

Mettenberger has a golden arm. His question will continue to surround decision making.

If he is Whisenhunt’s guy though, building that offensive line is a must.

Holding the second pick in draft, general manager Ruston Webster could go in so many different directions. As of right now it looks like quarterback isn’t one of them.

Leonard Williams is the most speculated guy, which nobody could strongly oppose. Either offensive or defensive line is where a team with such a talent issue needs to start. Building from the line out is remains the only way to build a perennial winner.

Look for the cagey leadership of the Titans to start there.
